The going rate at the port is about €70 per person; with us it is €45 per person in a minibus or coach, roughly €25 saved per person. Unlike a passing taxi, the vehicle stays dedicated to your group, with reserved pier access and a guaranteed return to the ship.
Where exactly does the driver wait at La Goulette port?+
Your private driver waits at the exit of the La Goulette cruise terminal (authorised pick-up area, after the port checkpoint) holding a sign with your name. He tracks your ship’s actual docking time and waits at no extra cost if berthing is delayed.
What exactly is the 60-minute safety buffer?+
We build the itinerary from your all-aboard time, then subtract 60 minutes. That buffer absorbs traffic entering Tunis, the queue at the port checkpoint and visits that run long. In practice, the return to the terminal is planned at least 1 hour before boarding closes — never based on the sailing time.
Is the return to the ship really guaranteed on time?+
Yes. The driver stays with you all day: you never wait for a taxi or a bus. If one site runs late, he shortens or drops the last stop rather than eating into the 60-minute buffer.
How do I know whether my call is too short for an itinerary?+
Enter your docking time and all-aboard time at the top of the page: the risk indicator compares your time ashore with the time required (tour duration + 1-hour buffer) and shows a low, medium or high risk for each programme.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?+
The price is TOTAL and PER VEHICLE, not per person. A family of 4 or a group of 8 pays the same price for the same itinerary, which makes a private tour often cheaper than the excursions sold on board.
How long does it take to reach Sidi Bou Said, Carthage or Tunis from the pier?+
From the La Goulette terminal: about 15 minutes to Carthage, 20 minutes to Sidi Bou Said, 15 minutes to the Tunis Medina and 25 minutes to the Bardo Museum. These are off-peak times and are already included in the itinerary durations shown.
What happens if my ship arrives late or the call is cancelled?+
If the ship berths late, the driver waits and the itinerary is shortened to protect the return time. If the call is cancelled by the cruise line (weather, technical), the excursion is cancelled free of charge and the deposit is fully refunded on presentation of the line’s notice.
How does payment work?+
You pay a 30% deposit online when booking (credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay). The remaining 70% is paid on the spot on the day, in cash (euros or dinars). No hidden fees: fuel, parking and waiting time are included.
Are site entrance tickets and a guide included?+
The price includes the private air-conditioned vehicle, the English/French-speaking driver, fuel, parking and waiting time. Site entrance tickets (Carthage, Bardo) and meals are not included: budget about €12–15 per person for the Carthage and Bardo pass. An official guide is automatically included from 9 passengers (minibus and coach); in a sedan or van (1-8 passengers) it can be added on request.
Can I book for a group of 12, 20 or 30 cruise passengers?+
Yes. We operate 12- and 18-seat minibuses and 24- and 30-seat air-conditioned coaches. The fare remains a total price per vehicle; simply select your group size when booking or ask for an instant WhatsApp quote.
Can I customise the itinerary (Menzel Bourguiba, Bizerte, Hammamet, beach…)?+
Yes. The itineraries shown are the most requested, but your day is private: we can add a farther destination (Bizerte, Menzel Bourguiba, Hammamet, Zaghouan) or a seaside lunch, as long as the return time to the ship stays safe.
How far in advance should I book my private driver?+
Ideally 48 to 72 hours before the call, because vehicle availability is limited on busy days (2 to 3 ships alongside). Last-minute bookings remain possible: we confirm availability within an hour on WhatsApp.
